"You're wrong": Redknapp criticizes Carragher's comments on Alexander-Arnold's future

The potential move of Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, as rumored, has sparked debate among Liverpool fans. Prominent figures from the club are also publicly clashing over opinions on what the defender should do.

Details: Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Carragher previously stated that Alexander-Arnold should not leave the club on a free transfer. However, ex-teammate Jamie Redknapp countered, arguing that Trent has every right to decide how he exits Liverpool.

Quote: "I think you're very, very wrong. You can’t turn around and tell him he has to sign a contract. What if he gets injured after signing it—what happens then? He has the chance to sign a five-year deal or something else with Real Madrid and try something new. I have full respect for whatever he wants to do because he has given everything to Liverpool," Redknapp said, as quoted by The Hard Tackle.
