"You shouldn't." Carl Froch gave advice to Joshua regarding a rematch with Dubois
Former world champion Carl Froch has offered advice to Anthony Joshua regarding a potential rematch with Daniel Dubois.
Details: In Froch's opinion, AJ shouldn't rush into an immediate rematch with Dubois.
Quote: "Honestly, I don't think he should go straight into an immediate rematch with Dubois. If the fight had gone differently, there might have been an argument for it.
But Joshua should head back to the gym, do some light sparring, and see what happens between Fury and Usyk in their rematch. This will give him some time to regroup and figure out how much he really wants that fight," said Froch.
Reminder: The first bout between Dubois and Joshua took place on September 21. AJ was the favorite going into the fight, but was punished by his opponent. He was knocked down several times before ultimately being knocked out in the fifth round.
Notably, the IBF has set a deadline for Dubois to make a voluntary title defense.
