"You brought me to my destiny." Trainer of Dubois thanked the boxer DAZN

Daniel Dubois defeated Anthony Joshua in the IBF heavyweight title fight and successfully defended his belt. Dubois's trainer, Don Charles, expressed his gratitude to the boxer.

Details: According to him, he has always had a goal since the day he arrived in England in October 1974 and attended the fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.

Quote: "It's symbolic that I am training a heavyweight world champion on the 50th anniversary of that fight. I love you, Daniel; thank you. And I thank your father for bringing you into my life. If I die tomorrow, my heart will be at peace. You brought me to my destiny. Thank you," he stated.

Reminder: It’s worth noting that Joshua was knocked out in the fifth round, having been sent to the canvas three times earlier but managing to recover each time. After the fight, the Brit remained in good spirits and stated at the press conference that he is not considering retirement.

This loss marks Joshua's fourth in his career. Previously, he suffered a defeat against Andy Ruiz in 2019 but avenged it the same year. In 2021 and 2022, he was defeated by Oleksandr Usyk.
