Yan Diomande opens the door to Paris Saint-Germain

Amid speculation surrounding the summer transfer window, the Ivorian striker has expressed his admiration for the French club.

Yan Diomande’s name has been linked with several major European clubs, including PSG, this summer. Asked about the French capital club’s interest, the Leipzig striker highlighted the special bond he has had with the European champions since childhood.

The Ivorian international also says he has respect for Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting project.

“Paris Saint-Germain is a team I’ve loved since I was a child. My father is a Paris Saint-Germain supporter; it’s a team I admire as a football fan. It would be a pleasure for me to come and play here for one of the biggest clubs. It’s always a pleasure to come here because, with the French language, I don’t think settling in will be difficult. But why not?”
