The generous gesture cost the Brazilian star £10,000. The brand-new iPhone 16 Pro Max is personalized with the Barcelona crest, Yamal’s name, and his squad number, 19.

Raphinha drew inspiration from Lionel Messi, who famously gifted personalized gold iPhones to all his teammates and coaching staff after Argentina’s World Cup victory in 2022, a gift that reportedly cost Messi £175,000.

The 17-year-old Yamal was thrilled by his captain’s gesture and, according to reports, is proudly showing off his new phone to friends and family.
