Xavi plans to return to coaching but wants to move to England
The season in Spain has concluded, and following this, Xavi Hernández has stepped down from his role as head coach of Barcelona after two and a half years. The saga of his departure had multiple stages, but ultimately, the legendary figure of the Catalan club has been replaced by Hansi Flick.
After announcing his departure from Barcelona, Xavi stated multiple times that he does not plan to return to coaching in the coming year, but he did not rule out the possibility in the future.
Sport confirms Xavi's decision, reporting that he intends to spend the next year focusing on his family. However, he is open to taking on a new coaching role the following year. It is said that Xavi is interested in moving to England to helm a promising project, though the specific clubs in question remain unknown.
Despite the criticism Xavi faced during his tenure at Barcelona, he is likely to receive numerous offers. As the coach of the Catalan club, he secured the Spanish championship title and won the Spanish Super Cup. Additionally, he claimed the Qatari league title with Al-Sadd, where he also won the Qatar Crown Prince Cup, Emir of Qatar Cup, Sheikh Jassim Cup, and Qatar Stars Cup.
