Xavi has revealed what Barcelona's next coach should be like

Barcelona will get a new coach this coming summer. The current mentor Xavi announced his departure from the Catalan team at the end of the season. Now in the club offices are actively working on finding a successor to the 44-year-old specialist with them assisted by himself.

At a press conference before the match against Getafe, Xavi spoke about what his successor should be:

"I don't know, it's up to sporting director Dec and the club president to decide, but he must have Barcelona DNA."

Xavi's words make sense, as there have been 16 coaches who have worked with Barcelona in the 21st century and only five of them have no experience of playing for the Blaugrana as a player on their CV.

The media is now continuing to actively matchmake one coach or another to Barcelona. Thus, it was reported that to lead the Catalan team could be the coach of Brighton Roberto De Zerbi, head coach of Sporting, Ruben Amorim and his Portuguese Championship vis-à-vis Porto Sergio Conceição.
