Details: According to renowned and reputable journalist and insider Ben Jacobs on his social media page X, Xavi's representatives admitted that Chelsea did indeed make an offer to the Spanish specialist and even received his preliminary agreement, but things later went off script.

It is reported that Xavi was already preparing to move to England, but Chelsea suddenly halted negotiations at the last minute and completely pulled out of the deal. The reasons behind the Blues' management decision remain unknown.
