Barcelona continues to shape its plans for the upcoming season and, despite interest from a number of players, not every option resonates with the club's management. One such case was Marc Cucurella, who expressed his willingness to return to the Catalan capital, but received a firm rejection.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the club has made a final decision: the 27-year-old Chelsea defender is not among the priority targets in the transfer market. Barcelona's management is not considering signing him and has already dismissed this option.
To recall, Cucurella was part of Barcelona's system from 2012 to 2020. After leaving the club, he played for Getafe, Brighton, and Chelsea, where he continues his career today.
