Wrexham has come under scrutiny from the FA. What is the issue?

Ryan Reynolds' Hollywood-backed team, Wrexham, is under investigation by the Football Association.

According to an FA spokesperson, the issue stems from a mass brawl that occurred after their EFL Cup match against Sheffield United. At the end of the match, Sebastián Revan scored, making it 4-2. Wrexham players attempted to retrieve the ball from the net, but a Sheffield United player refused to allow it. This led to a clash between players, escalating into a full-scale fight between both teams.

The FA has confirmed that both clubs have been charged with failing to control their players.

On a positive note, Wrexham has made a strong start in the English League One, drawing and winning their first two matches, currently sitting with four points.

Wrexham achieved a historic milestone by finishing second in the English League Two and securing promotion to the higher division, marking a significant achievement for the club.
