Wow! Pep Guardiola awarded honorary degree by the University of Manchester


Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has received major recognition from the city, being awarded an honorary degree by the University of Manchester. The university announced this on its official Instagram page.

“@pepteam has been awarded an honorary degree by The University of Manchester, recognising his extraordinary contribution to our city over nine years on and off the pitch! 🩵,” the caption under the photo read.
Guardiola admitted that although Catalonia is his homeland, during his time in Manchester he has grown to love the city, which has now become a part of him. He also confessed that he now enjoys the rain and cloudy weather.
It is worth recalling that during Guardiola’s time in charge of Manchester City, he has won six Premier League titles, the Champions League in 2023, two FA Cups, and four League Cups, along with other trophies. Under Josep’s leadership, City has become one of the giants of world football.
