Arsenal have launched the season in excellent form, showing authority both in attack and defence. But the London club now face worrying news.

Details: According to The Athletic, the Gunners are continuing to assess the condition of their centre-back. Arsenal fear that Gabriel may miss between one and two months. Early indications suggest the defender is out for a spell, though testing is still ongoing.

This season, Gabriel has made 17 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and supplying three assists.

Earlier we reported that Gabriel pulled up mid-sprint during Brazil’s defensive transition, immediately reaching toward the upper inside of his thigh (the groin/adductor area). Carlo Ancelotti confirmed it is an adductor injury, and a thorough examination was scheduled.

Reminder: Riccardo Calafiori, who missed Italy’s match against Moldova with a thigh issue, has been ruled out of the final qualifier for the 2026 World Cup against Norway.
