Bologna managed to deliver impressive results over the past few seasons and even lifted the Coppa Italia, but now the coach who guided the club to that success is leaving the team.
Details: Bologna have officially announced that they have reached an agreement with Vincenzo Italiano to terminate his contract. The decision reportedly came at the request of the coach himself.
Quote: “Italiano informed the club that he considers his time at Bologna to be over after two seasons marked by excellent results, regardless of any future employment opportunities.
The club thanks Vincenzo for the passion and dedication he showed throughout these years, which will remain part of the club’s history, including the Coppa Italia triumph on May 14, 2025,” the statement reads.
Reminder: Napoli’s management recently held another round of direct telephone talks with Massimiliano Allegri. The club are actively searching for a head coach capable of returning the team to the top of Serie A.
