Details: Earlier, the German press reported that Wirtz's agent Giovanni Branchini, on behalf of Manchester City, began working on transferring his client to the English club. Branchini's task was supposedly to convince the player and his entourage to move specifically to Manchester.

However, the agent himself strongly denies these claims, calling them “fake reports,” and states he has no involvement with Manchester City's efforts regarding Wirtz's transfer.
