Winter Transfers and Declining Performance: Critical Meeting Between Al Ahly's President and Koller to Shape the Team's Future

Al Ahly President Mahmoud El Khatib is set to hold a crucial meeting today, Saturday, with Swiss head coach Marcel Koller to discuss key issues affecting the team. The agenda includes plans for winter transfers and the list of players who may depart at the end of the season.

During the meeting, the team's recent slump in performance will also be discussed, especially after their 1-0 CAF Champions League group stage loss to CR Belouizdad. Al Ahly's incredible run of 27 straight wins in the competition came to an end with this loss.

Despite growing concerns, reports suggest that El Khatib remains unconvinced about parting ways with Koller.

Al Ahly leads the group with seven points, while Belouizdad's win increased their total to six, putting them in second place. After a four-hour journey from Algeria, the team arrived back in Cairo earlier today as they get ready for the competition's next stage.
