Al Ahly Reassures Fans: Percy Tau Staying Put

Al Ahly supporters may rest easy because coach Marcel Koller has rejected claims that South African star Percy Tau will quit the squad. Recent speculations suggested Tau may join Esteghlal or Kaizer Chiefs, but Koller said, "Percy Tau is part of our future plans, and we're focused on tomorrow's game."

Tau joined Al Ahly from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2021 and has been a key player in the team’s attack, even though he has faced some injuries. His creativity and performance on the field are still very important for the club’s goals in the CAF Champions League and the local league.

With Koller’s confirmation, it looks like Tau will stay with Al Ahly and continue to play a big role in their efforts to win trophies this season.
