“Winning this match gives us some breathing space,” said Koffi Firmin after AFAD’s victory over Stella Club

The Ivorian club’s manager shared his thoughts following this dramatic match on matchday 23, which his team won.

Koffi Firmin is relieved to see his team secure a fine victory in the Ivorian Ligue 1 this Saturday 4 April. Academie FAD had a scare early on before coming from behind to beat Stella Club. Although the club, currently fourth in Ligue 1, is no longer in contention for the title, this victory is precious, says Koffi Firmin.

Winning this match gives us some breathing space in the battle to avoid relegation, even though the title has slipped from our grasp.
