Ivory Coast Ligue 1: AFAD beat Stella Club, SOL and Tchologo draw
Matchday 23 of the Ivorian professional league continued this 4 April with two fixtures.
Away at Stella Club, Academie FAD secured a valuable victory. The visitors came from behind to beat the home side. Aziz put Stella Club ahead in the 3rd minute, 1-0. But Academie FAD’s response was swift. Jarju Kalilu equalised in the 31st minute, 1-1, before Sidiki Traore put his side ahead in the 53rd minute, 1-2.
In Saturday’s other fixture, FC SOL and Tchologo fought a fierce battle. The first half was full of suspense. However, Tchologo broke the deadlock in the 76th minute, 0-1. But this lead was short-lived. FC SOL, playing at home, levelled the score a few minutes later. Zorom Aziz scored the equaliser in the 88th minute, 1-1. The match ended with the score remaining level.
