Winds of change. Newcastle identify Real Madrid striker as top transfer target
The Spanish forward could soon make his way to the Premier League.
Details: According to TEAMtalk, Newcastle’s coaching staff and management have identified 22-year-old Real Madrid striker Gonzalo García as their primary target for the summer transfer window.

Despite recent signings like Woltemade and Yoane Wissa, the club still believes they have not adequately replaced Isak, who left for Liverpool. García is seen as the perfect fit for Newcastle thanks to his playing style and age.
The Magpies are ready to open official negotiations with Real Madrid after the World Cup, even though they anticipate certain challenges in their pursuit of García.
This season, Gonzalo has featured in just 32 matches, netting 6 goals and providing 2 assists. A move to Newcastle could offer García more playing time than he currently receives at Real.
The forward’s current contract with Real Madrid runs until 2030, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €30 million.
