During Wimbledon matches, we've frequently witnessed players feeling unwell. But the scorching heat is taking its toll on more than just the athletes.

Details: The Wimbledon semifinal clash between Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz saw several stoppages as medical assistance was provided to spectators in the stands.

One spectator had to be carried out on a stretcher, while Fritz himself handed a water bottle to another. Alcaraz also showed concern, checking on the crowd before resuming his serve.

Similar incidents occurred a day earlier in the women's semifinal, when Aryna Sabalenka paused play to help pass water and ice packs to a fan who had fallen ill.

Reminder: The women's tournament at Wimbledon is set to crown a first-time champion, as both Iga Swiatek and Amanda Anisimova are making their debut appearance in a Wimbledon final.
