Wimbledon 2025: Olympic champion Qinwen Zheng's match postponed — reason and details

Several matches of the Wimbledon round of 1/64 finals have once again been suspended.
Details: The first match to face postponement was the clash between Czech player Katerina Siniakova and Olympic champion from China Qinwen Zheng.
It is reported that the suspension was due to nightfall, as the inadequate lighting at the All England Club courts made it impossible to continue play. The showdown between world No. 81 Siniakova and No. 6 seed Zheng will resume tomorrow at 13:00 Kyiv time.
However, this was not the only match to be postponed on the day: the men's singles encounter between Shintaro Mochizuki and Giulio Zeppieri was also halted for the same reason. At the time of suspension, the score was level at 2-2.
The second match to be postponed was the contest between Matteo Arnaldi and Botic van de Zandschulp. Again, poor visibility due to darkness was the culprit. When play was stopped, Van de Zandschulp was confidently leading 2-0.
Reminder: Amid ongoing issues, Medvedev has been knocked out in the first round of a Grand Slam for the second time in a row
