World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz is set to compete for the prestigious ATP tournament trophy in Beijing, China.
Details: Today, in the semifinals of the tournament, Alcaraz defeated Daniil Medvedev, who does not represent any country in the tour.
The match lasted two sets, with Alcaraz securing victory in just 1 hour and 26 minutes.
In the first set, both players exchanged breaks twice, but at a crucial moment, Alcaraz managed to break Medvedev’s serve and clinched the set 7-5.
In the second set, Alcaraz did not drop a single game on his serve, finishing it off 6-3.
In the final, Alcaraz will face the winner of the match between Jannik Sinner and Bu Yunchaokete.
Reminder: This season, Alcaraz has already claimed three titles, including the French Open and Wimbledon.
