Victor Font's representatives wasted no time during yesterday's Champions League clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Details: According to the Daily Mirror, while Manchester City were in Madrid ahead of the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie, representatives of one of Barcelona's top presidential hopefuls, Victor Font, met with Manchester City's officials to discuss a potential transfer of the Citizens' prolific 25-year-old striker, Erling Haaland.

It is reported that Ferran Soriano and Hugo Viana represented Haaland's interests, while Carles Planschar and Javier Aguilar acted on behalf of Font.

Sources claim that Font has a clear vision for Barcelona's future, which includes bringing Pep Guardiola back as head coach and signing Haaland, who would likely be keen to reunite with Pep.

Despite these bold moves, Haaland's transfer to Barcelona is still considered highly unlikely due to his long-term contract with City and Barcelona's ongoing financial troubles, which have repeatedly dashed their transfer ambitions in recent years.

This season, Erling Haaland has played 40 matches for Manchester City, scoring 29 goals and providing 7 assists. His contract with City runs until 2034, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €200 million.
