Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk of London’s Chelsea has found himself at the center of a major scandal, receiving a four-year ban from football. Currently, the player is fighting to overturn this decision, filing an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport in an effort to prove his innocence or at least reduce the sentence.

Details: Prominent British journalist Simon Jordan has expressed the view that the appeal could yield positive results for the Ukrainian. According to his predictions, after the case is reviewed, the suspension period will likely be reduced, allowing Mudryk to return to the pitch as early as the end of 2026.

Despite his temporary suspension from matches, details of the player’s contract have come to light. Reports indicate that at the onset of his ban, Mykhailo continued to receive his weekly salary of £100,000.

It’s worth noting that Mudryk last appeared on the pitch in December 2024.

Reminder: Former Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior intends to sue the club.
