Former Chelsea coach set to sue club. The reason revealed
Former Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has initiated legal proceedings against the London club over a dispute regarding his severance package.
Details: According to David Ornstein, the coach is demanding full compensation for the entire remaining term of his massive contract, which was set for six and a half years. The conflict arose after the Blues' management refused to pay the full amount stipulated in the long-term agreement.

The legal battle has intensified due to a significant difference in the valuation of compensation following the coach's early dismissal. Rosenior, whose contract was supposed to run until 2032, believes the club's actions are unlawful and in violation of their original agreement.
The coach's representatives intend to prove in court their right to full compensation, despite the club's attempts to cut costs.
It should be noted that Rosenior was dismissed in April 2026, having spent just around four months in charge as head coach
Reminder: Chelsea and Atletico have shown interest in Brentford striker Igor Thiago.
