On Tuesday, 27 January, the quarter-final match of the 2026 Australian Open between Coco Gauff and Elina Svitolina took place. It ended in a dominant 2–0 victory for the Ukrainian (6–1, 6–2). After the match, the American could not contain her emotions.
Details: At first, Coco Gauff calmly shook hands with Svitolina and left the court. However, just a few minutes after the match, a video emerged from the tunnel area, showing the American emotionally smashing her racket.
