According to Give Me Sport, the 37-year-old legendary Argentine forward has made a decision about his future and will extend his contract with Inter Miami for another year. Messi's current deal runs until the end of 2025, but he is set to sign a new contract that will keep him at the club through 2026.

Previously, the club's co-owner, Jorge Mas, had expressed confidence that Messi would stay and hopes the player will participate in the opening of the new team stadium in 2026. Messi was recently named MLS Player of the Year.
