Details: As announced on the league's official page, the 2024 MVP is Inter Miami forward, legendary Argentine Lionel Messi. The statement read: "The greatest of all time did it again."

The Argentine striker topped the MLS charts in the goals + assists category, with 20 goals and 17 assists to his name. In the playoffs, he contributed one goal and one assist.

Inter Miami won the regular MLS season, finishing with 74 points from 34 matches, a record in league history. However, in the playoffs, the team was eliminated in the first round, losing 1-2 to Atlanta in the series.
