What will Alonso choose? Man City to rival Real in pursuit of Bayer's coach

Real Madrid is considering Xabi Alonso as a potential successor to Carlo Ancelotti, who is likely to leave the club by the summer. The future of the Italian has been a topic of discussion for several months, and although he has a contract until the summer of 2026, his departure could happen sooner.

Details: If this happens at the end of the current season, the "Galacticos" will offer the position to Xabi Alonso, but they may face competition. Football Espana reports that the Spaniard, who has achieved success with Bayer in recent seasons, has caught the attention of other clubs, including Manchester City, which might be in search of a new coach.

Reminder: After Pep Guardiola extended his contract until 2026, there is a chance that both teams will compete for Alonso in the future, especially if he stays with Bayer for another season. By 2026, he will certainly become a candidate for the head coach position at one of these clubs.
