An intriguing option to replace their main striker has been found in Spain.
Details: Amid the tense situation surrounding Viktor Gyökeres’ potential move to London’s Arsenal, the management of the Portuguese powerhouse has identified Colombian striker Luis Suárez as his replacement.
Currently, Luis Suárez plays for Spain’s Almería and, unlike his Uruguayan namesake, isn’t as well-known in the football world.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X, the 27-year-old Suárez has already given preliminary approval should an official offer be made.
Suárez is under contract with Almería until 2029, and according to Transfermarkt, the Colombian’s market value is €8 million.
