What are the surprises? Arsenal announce lineup for USA preseason tour


The English Premier League runners-up Arsenal have announced their squad for the pre-season tour in the USA.
It has been reported that Kai Havertz, Martinelli, and Gabriel will join the team on July 25.
Takehiro Tomiyasu will remain in London with the Arsenal staff to treat his ongoing knee injury. Kieran Tierney, who has returned from loan, will also stay behind due to a hamstring injury.
Youngster Charlie Patino has not been included in the squad for the USA tour.
Following the USA tour, the Euro 2024 participants will join the club: Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya, and William Saliba.

Goalkeepers: Karl Hein, Tommi Setford, Lucas Nügaard, Alexei Rojas
Defenders: Ben White, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jurriën Timber, Josh Nichols, Jakub Kiwior, Aidan Heaven, Omar Rekik
Midfielders: Thomas Partey, Jorginho, Michal Rosiak, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Martin Ødegaard, Emile Smith Rowe, Fábio Vieira, Ethan Nwaneri, Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand, Jimmy Gower
Forwards: Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson, Charles Sagoe Jr., Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah.
Arsenal will start with a game against Bournemouth at LA Galaxy’s Dignity Health Sports Park on Wednesday, July 24 (7.30pm local time), before tackling Manchester United at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles the following Saturday (5pm local).
The party then go from coast to coast as they head to Philadelphia for a meeting with Liverpool at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, August 1 (7.30pm local) before returning to the UK.
