Details: According to SkySports, 48-year-old French coach Wilfried Nancy, currently at the helm of MLS side Columbus Crew, is set to become the new manager of Scottish giants Celtic in the coming days.
Reports indicate that talks between Nancy and Celtic are nearing completion, and it’s highly likely that the Frenchman will officially take charge of the Hoops in the next few days. The club’s board is also negotiating with members of the coaching staff that Nancy wants to bring along with him.
Wilfried Nancy took charge of Columbus Crew in December 2022. Under his leadership, the team has played 136 matches, recording 71 wins, 32 draws, and 33 defeats. In the 2022/23 season, he led Columbus Crew to the MLS Cup title.
