What a headline! LeBron James is creating his own NBA team
A new team could soon emerge in the NBA.
Details: According to Forbes journalist Evan Sidery, 40-year-old Lakers superstar LeBron James is looking to establish his own franchise with the help of investors.
Reports indicate that LeBron has reached out to Fenway Sports Group, the company that owns English club Liverpool. It's worth noting that the deal has real potential, as LeBron and Liverpool's top brass share a warm friendship, and LeBron himself owns a 2% stake in the Merseyside club.
It's also known that the basketball icon has been in contact with RedBird Capital, the owners of Italian giants AC Milan.
James's plans also include building a state-of-the-art arena for his future team, which is set to become a new passion in his life once his playing career comes to an end.
