On Friday, 21 November, Nice hosted Marseille in a Ligue 1 Matchday 13 fixture, and midway through the first half the game boiled over.
Details: In the 33rd minute, Mason Greenwood struck to double Marseille’s lead. But immediately after the goal, tempers flared and a scuffle erupted between players from Nice and Marseille, coming close to spilling into a full-blown fight.
Fortunately, the situation was quickly defused. The referee brandished several yellow cards, and the match carried on.
