Paul Pogba has missed two years due to suspension, but that period has now expired — and we are on the verge of seeing him on the pitch again.
Details: Monaco have released their squad list for the next match, which will take place on Saturday, November 22, away to Rennes. Among the players travelling for the game is Paul Pogba. It is his first call-up in two years. His last appearance came on September 2, 2023.
Pogba was sidelined after failing a doping test, which initially resulted in a four-year ban; however, in October this year, a court reduced the suspension to 18 months.
Pogba joined Monaco this summer as a free agent following the expiration of his Juventus contract, but injuries have prevented him from making his debut for the club.
Reminder: Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro has not ruled out the possibility of the club buying out the contract of 22-year-old Spaniard Ansu Fati after his loan from Barcelona concludes.
