West Ham star close to joining English top club!

West Ham, having been relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season, continues its player exodus.

Details: According to Sky Sports, London’s West Ham may part ways with their Greek defender, Konstantinos Mavropanos. A number of English clubs are reportedly interested in signing the player.

The main contender for the 28-year-old is London’s Arsenal, who are looking to add depth to their squad with the Hammers’ defender. However, several other English and European clubs are also in the race for his signature.

Even though Mavropanos is under contract until 2028, the deal could be relatively inexpensive, with the transfer fee expected to be around 20 million euros.

During the 2025/26 season, the Greek defender featured in 35 matches across all competitions, finding the net three times.
