West Ham is considering two options to strengthen their defense

West Ham is exploring options to bolster their defense ahead of the new Premier League season.

According to Darmesh Sheth of Sky Sports, the "Hammers" are currently considering two candidates: Mats Hummels and Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea. Should they sell Kurt Zouma this summer, additional reinforcement will be essential.

Additionally, West Ham has reached an agreement with Nice for defender Jean-Clair Todibo, although there is a possibility that Juventus may entice the player away.

It is worth noting that London-based West Ham has announced the signing of defensive midfielder Guido Rodríguez from Real Betis. The transfer was completed on a free transfer as his contract with the Andalusian club expired in early July.

Furthermore, West Ham has secured the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Niclas Füllkrug.
