One of the headliners of the Premier League winter transfer window was Kalvin Phillips, who moved to West Ham on loan from Manchester City, but the midfielder will not stay at the Hammers for long.

According to Alan Nixon, the east London club are looking at players who can replace Phillips when his loan expires.

Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney is liked by West Ham and could be one of the options for the summer. The Hammers' scouts watched the 21-year-old at the weekend, and it is unlikely to be the last time they will visit.

Nottingham Forest are also interested in the Middlesbrough star, but West Ham believe they can compete with their Premier League rivals to acquire him.

Phillips has not made a single appearance in four games for the Hammers.
