The new coach of Milan Paulo Fonseca expressed emotions after his appointment to the position.

Together, we will strive for excellence and script a new chapter of success, one that I hope we can celebrate alongside our exceptional supporters. Forza Milan," commented Fonseca on his appointment.
Milan announced Fonseca's arrival this morning, with the contract spanning three years. Earlier reports from insiders suggested his salary would amount to 2.5 million.
In 2019, Fonseca made his debut in Italian football, joining AS Roma, where he guided them to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League in 2021. Since the summer of 2022, Fonseca has been at the helm of Lille.
The Portuguese tactician coached Les Dogues for two seasons, during which he secured European qualifications twice for Lille.
