Milan has officially announced the appointment of a new head coach

Milan has appointed Portuguese specialist Paulo Fonseca as their new head coach.
Milan has signed a three-year contract with the new specialist. Insiders previously reported that his salary will be 2.5 million.
Paulo Fonseca began his coaching career in 2005 within the youth system of Estrela da Amadora, subsequently working in the lower tiers of Portuguese professional football.
He first appeared in the top division with Paços de Ferreira, with whom he reached the playoff round of the Champions League. He joined Porto in 2013 and won the Supertaça, his first silverware as a coach.
After his tenure at Braga, where he led the team to the Portuguese championship title, he joined Shakhtar Donetsk, winning seven trophies and ending his stint with a record of 103 victories in 139 matches.
In 2019, he made his debut in Italian football with Roma, reaching the Europa League semi-finals in 2021. As head coach of Lille from the summer of 2022, Fonseca concluded his time in France after two seasons, during which he twice guided Lille to European qualification.
