“We were very lucky.” Slot quoted Jordan in response to claims of luck

In the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against PSG, Liverpool miraculously not only avoided a crushing defeat but also secured a 1-0 victory. Luck played a part, as acknowledged by the "Scousers" head coach Arne Slot.

Details: The Dutch specialist admitted that not only in that match but throughout this season, he and his team have been extraordinarily lucky. Slot also responded to Michael Jordan's words that luck favors those who work hard.

Quote: "We were not just lucky; we were very, very, very lucky! But, as Michael Jordan said, the harder you work, the luckier you get. If you think injuries are just about luck or bad luck, then we were lucky, but we tried to prevent them in a certain way," Slot stated.
