"We want to improve the squad": Rodgers comments on Tierney to Celtic rumors

Recent reports suggest that Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney could be on his way to Celtic, but the Scottish club’s head coach Brendan Rodgers has approached these rumors cautiously.

Details: Rodgers acknowledged that he knows Tierney well and that the squad needs strengthening, but he refrained from discussing specific transfer targets.

Quote: "Kieran is someone I know very well, but many players will be linked with Celtic. We will never speak about a player, especially a young player, who is at another club.

But we know there is work to be done. We want to improve the squad in several key areas. Until that happens, the players we have are working very well, and we’ll just keep working with them and see what happens in January," Rodgers said.
