“We love you so much!” Arsenal star Kai Havertz announces the birth of his son
Arsenal's footballer Kai Havertz shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram page announcing the birth of his first child, a son.
The German player posted an adorable photo showing the baby holding his mother's finger with his tiny hand, while Havertz's hand is gently holding hers. He captioned the post with the words “Welcome to the world, our little boy! We love you so much!”
Remarkably, the post garnered over 275,000 likes and more than 4,000 comments within just 3 hours of being published. Fans, as well as friends and teammates, flooded the comments with warm words and congratulations for the footballer and his wife. Official accounts of Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen, Havertz's former club, also left their marks in the comments section.
It is worth mentioning that Kai Havertz has been in a relationship with his wife Sofia since 2018. The couple got engaged in 2023 and tied the knot last July, announcing they were expecting a child in November.
Additionally, Havertz is currently on medical leave after suffering a torn hamstring last month. It is expected that the German will not return to the pitch for the remainder of the current season.
