"We don’t drop like other teams"—Guardiola takes subtle jab at Man United

Manchester City have faced plenty of challenges this season—currently sitting fifth in the Premier League and at risk of an early Champions League exit. However, Pep Guardiola remains unfazed, especially considering that their neighbors, Manchester United, are struggling even more.

Details: The City manager emphasized that his team has not fallen as dramatically as other clubs that have previously experienced success. He also pointed out that after nearly a decade in charge, having one difficult season is understandable.

Quote: "Maybe we’ll finish 14th or 15th, but we are fifth. We don’t drop like other teams that have been successful in the past. One bad season in eight or nine years—that can happen.

Have you seen Liverpool this season? They won’t get 100 points, definitely not. Maybe 99, but not 100—yet look at the season they’re having! It made me realize: wow, what we did."
