Was Wilder's defeat caused by an injury? Warren shared intriguing details

Renowned promoter Frank Warren commented on the defeat of former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) against Joseph Parker (34-3, 23 KOs).
Wilder, once deemed the clear favorite, engaged in a notably lackluster and feeble bout, conceding a unanimous decision to Parker. The match took place as part of a significant boxing event in Saudi Arabia.
“I thought he looked pretty dreadful. I was just talking to Shelly Finkel [Wilder’s manager] and they were telling me that he had a problem. He went into one of those Cryochambers and sat in it for a long time. I don’t know. Obviously, there’s going to be some excuse.” told Warren for talkSPORT.
With a victory over Parker, Wilder was set for a subsequent bout against Anthony Joshua, who confidently defeated Otto Wallin on December 23. However, the staging of the fight now hangs in the balance due to the American's defeat.
