Joshua confidently defeated Wallin

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua won an early victory over Swedish boxer Otto Wallin at a boxing night in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua was considered the undisputed favourite of the fight, which he began to prove from the first rounds: the Briton occupied the centre of the ring and periodically checked Wallin's not very successful defence. Otto, however, was not going to give up today and showed unyielding boxing.

The denouement came in the fifth round: Joshua nearly knocked Wallin out after several accurate punches. In addition, Otto had a broken nose. Therefore, the corner of the Swedish boxer decided to end the resistance early.

For 34-year-old Anthony Joshua, this is the third consecutive victory after the defeat of Alexander Usik. The Briton defeated American Jermaine Franklin Jr. and Finn Helenius Robert.

He was expected to take his next fight against Deontay Wilder. However, after the American's defeat today to Joseph Parker, the question with the next opponent remains open.
