In a UEFA Champions League match, Galatasaray suffered a heavy 0–4 defeat, but they also lost Noa Lang, who sustained a serious finger injury.
Details: According to The Athletic, Galatasaray’s doctor revealed that the player fortunately avoided amputation. Noa Lang underwent surgery in Liverpool after injuring the thumb of his right hand during the Champions League match against the local side.
We previously reported that the player himself shared on his Stories that he is feeling well. He underwent surgery, which was successful, and thanked everyone for their support.
Reminder: UEFA informed Liverpool about the launch of an official investigation into the incident during the Champions League Round of 16 second-leg match, in which Galatasaray player Noa Lang suffered a horrific finger injury after colliding with an advertising board near the pitch.
