War on FIFA! Al-Khelaifi prepares a shadow global club confederation

A major redistribution of power and influence is brewing in world football.

Details: According to renowned insider Ben Jacobs, PSG president and EFC chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi plans to launch the World Football Clubs (WFC) project as soon as possible. The new organization is being created as part of the European Football Clubs' large-scale global expansion.

At the General Assembly in Copenhagen, many football officials are already openly viewing the organization under construction as an unofficial sixth confederation, designed to directly challenge FIFA's monopoly and Gianni Infantino personally. Al-Khelaifi stressed that the European structure has long since evolved into a global network and platform, enabling clubs to forge independent ties and effectively protect their interests far beyond Europe.

The creation of this new force comes amid an open conflict between continental football authorities and world football's governing body, including UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin's fierce criticism of FIFA's leadership and growing disagreements over the international calendar.

It is worth noting that Nasser Al-Khelaifi has headed the European club association since April 2021, while Gianni Infantino has served as FIFA president since February 2016.
