Oxford United, who finished 22nd in the Championship, are searching for fresh faces to take over the managerial reins.
Details: According to talkSPORT, Oxford's management is seriously considering appointing Aaron Ramsey, the Wales national team legend, as the club's new head coach. The previous manager, Matt Bloomfield, was at the helm for just 14 matches.
For Ramsey, this would be his first real test as a head coach: in the final three games of the 2024/25 season, the Welshman was responsible for Cardiff's results, but couldn't save the team from relegation, recording one defeat and two draws.
Ramsey had planned to start his coaching career after hanging up his boots and even stated that one day he would like to manage the Wales national team. In October 2024, Ramsey said that leading the national team he once helped to the Euro 2016 semi-finals is his dream.
"Hopefully it will happen in a few years, but one day it will definitely interest me."
