Wait for the transfer? Atlético hopes to finalize Zinchenko’s move soon
Atlético close to signing Alexander Zinchenko for 20 million euros. The Arsenal defender could leave the club during the winter transfer window, and the Gunners are ready to finalize the deal in the coming days.
Details: According to Sky Sports Germany, Madrid's Atlético is in active negotiations with the London club and is in advanced discussions. Alongside the Spaniards, Borussia Dortmund and Inter were also interested in the 28-year-old player, but Atlético is currently the frontrunner in the race for his signature. The potential transfer is valued at 20 million euros, although there is also the possibility of a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Reminder: Atlético aims to complete the deal before the transfer window closes, and Zinchenko himself is keen on moving to La Liga and working under Diego Simeone, who seeks to strengthen the left flank and add an experienced player with strong ball control skills to his squad.
